In 1946, Michael and Sal Gilbertie started a landscaping business out of their parents’ garage in the Saugatuck area of Westport, CT. In September of 1955 they moved to their property at the corner of Weston Road and Good Hill Road in Weston, CT with the hope of expanding their business and being able to offer quality landscaping services, lawn care services, and a garden center. Now it’s over 50 years later and The Weston Gardens Inc. is still at the same location and still family owned and operated.
